Project Manager, Herndon VA

Highly motivated professional with strong communications skills to manage projects involving the most advanced search application software available in the market. The successful candidate will work directly with corporate and government clients on projects that involve the development of sophisticated, web-based internet and intranet search applications in a variety of industry settings. The position is based primarily on the East Coast, but may also require some international travel. Excellent organizational and writing skills required. The ideal candidate is able to work in a time-critical environment and be decisive when faced with complex problems. Must be able to work and focus on multiple projects simultaneously. Must be extremely well-organized with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. The candidate must prepare complete and accurate documents related to project phases and status for presentation to management. Position is based in our Herndon, VA office, and reports to a Senior Project Manager in the region. Bachelors degree required. The ideal candidate is able to work in a time-critical environment and be decisive when faced with complex problems. Must be able to work and focus on multiple projects simultaneously. Must be extremely well-organized with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. The candidate must prepare complete and accurate documents related to project phases and status for presentation to management. Bachelors degree required. Masters degree desirable, but not required. Software Developer/Engineer

Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Systems required. Masters desirable, but not required. Excellent organizational and writing skills required. Experience with search engines and application scaling desirable. Technical skills as follows: Java, JSP, J2EE, Python, ASP, VB.NET, C#, C++, HTML, XML, Web Services, SQL, Oracle, SQLServer, Windows, UNIX, Shell Scripting, Web Design, System Analysis, Documentation, Testing, Java Application Servers, Web Servers.
